About Me & US

Hey there!

I’m Trixie, a 25-years-old Jet Ski trainer who loves giving advice and is a self-proclaimed ice cream addict

My story began on the east coast of the United States. No crazy origin stories here! My life was pretty simple and straightforward. But yeah! I was lucky to have a sailor dad who encouraged me to sail since day 1.

Summer vacations always included adventures such as learning the sailing basics and spending hours traversing the water with my dad. But that’s a story for another time!  I learned to sail a boat when I was 13 and then like everything else in my teenage I lost interest. UNTIL… my dad bought his first water toy WaveRunner 500T. And, boy oh boy! I fell in love with it. I still remember riding it for the first time and telling myself I never want to get off. So, when I got the chance to work part-time at a Jet Ski dealership in high school, I was more than happy. I used to do odd jobs with the help of my friend Max (he was a tech there) I learned how to put a new jet ski together.

Frankly, I do enjoy getting my elbows dirty, but there is nothing like knowing a machine inside out. Working there I learned a lot and it helped me grab a summer job there as an intern salesperson.

I enjoyed what I did and after my graduation, I officially joined the team. I worked there for 3 years but my love for called me back and I became a certified trainer at a Jet Ski training centre.

Not bragging, but all my friends and acquaintances come to me for Jet Ski related advice. One day while surfing the internet,  I found that the information on Jet Skis was either unavailable or outdated. And, it’s crazy! Because if anyone is investing thousands of dollars on a water toy, they will want every information on it. That rang a bell. So, I decided to take the matter in my hands and jot down the areas I expertise in. And, how it all started!

What I am up to now?

As I told you I’m an instructor in a Jet Ski driving school. Plus, I have three water toys that I absolutely adore: a Yamaha FX Cruiser HO, a Kawasaki JS550 and a Kawasaki STX-15F.

What to expect from Jet Ski Journal?

A lot of useful information, information and information. I am trying to put my best foot forward in catering to the requirement of this industry in the most transparent way possible
